Vetmedin®
Vetmedin® - First line therapy for congestive heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy or mitral valve disease

• Administer Vetmedin®
twice a day, about 12 hours apart.
• Give Vetmedin either one hour before feeding or two hours after a meal.
• Vetmedin® may be hidden in a small treat.
• Side effects with Vetmedin are rare. If you have any concerns, contact
your veterinarian.
• Vetmedin® does not need to be changed as your dog’s disease progresses.
Because there is no cure for heart failure, dogs with CHF will likely require Vetmedin® for the remainder of their lives.
