International Development

The International Management Development Program (IMDP) has been designed to give our employees the potential to reach higher levels of management responsibility and gain broader perspective of the corporation.

The employees selected for this program are performance-driven professionals coming from all areas of the Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation. This management development initiative is designed to help them achieve the following:

  • Broaden their perception of the scope of the corporation's trends and procedures

  • Take an integral view of strategic business decisions

  •  Further develop team-oriented management and leadership competencies across functional areas, cultures and nationalities

  •  Increase awareness of self-assessment and self-development issues

  • Join a pool of qualified and enthusiastic candidates wanting to broaden their job perspectives and responsibilities

 

The IMDP is a way of merging corporation goals with the goals of employee development. It is a platform for our internal participants to develop international managerial and leadership competencies, to share ideas and work together towards a common goal.
