What are the signs and symptoms of a stroke?
There are many signs and symptoms of stroke and they can vary depending on the kind of stroke the patient has had.
Here are some common signs and symptoms of a stroke:

Sudden weakness, numbness or tingling in the face, arm and/or leg, especially on one side of the body

Sudden paralysis on one side of the body

Sudden loss of coordination, balance or fainting

Sudden loss of vision or double vision

Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding

Sudden severe headache with no known cause
